High Temperature Retort Pouch
Retortable Film Structure for Sterilization
The thermal processing or cooking packaged food in a pressurized chamber for purposes of sterilizing the contents to maintain freshness for extended storage times, Retort pouches are manufactured with materials suitable for the higher temperatures of the retort process, generally around 121 ℃. Using retort packaging to replace traditional can or bottle not only dramatically reduces the transportation cost to consumer markets, but also has better presentation on shelf as it can be manufactured as diverse shapes comparing to can/bottle packaging. Some of the common material structures of retort packaging can be summarized as Clear: AIOx/NY/RCPP ; SIOx/NY/RCPP ; BESELA/NY/RCPP. Non-clear: PET/NY/AL/RCPP ; PET/AL/RCPP. Some of the suitable markets of retort pouch are instant food, ready-to-eat food, cooked food, sauces, pet food etc.
